Technominds, Inc. wins the Nokia Mobile Entrepreneur Award 2008

Nokia Philippines together with Go Negosyo launched a contest that will recognize the creativity and innovation of mobile technology in the country. The contest is open to all Filipinos engaged in a business that utilizes legal mobile devices. Starting the search last March 2008, Technominds, Inc. became one of the 12 finalists for the competition. On the first week of May, the organizers contacted us and we are now one of the 6th Grand Finalist for the competition.

The panel interview was conducted in the morning of May 13, 2008. And on the night, Technominds Inc. was declared as the winner of the 1st Nokia Mobile Entrepreneur Award 2008 at Shang-ri La Hotel Makati.

Nokia Philippines General Manager William Hamilton-Whyte and Go Negosyo Executive Director Mon Lopez presented the award to Alvin Tan, our President and CEO, for winning the 1st Nokia Mobile Entrepreneur Awards. The first runner up was awarded to Oliver Kuy of Kuy Digital. The other finalists for the 1st Nokia Mobile Entrepreneur Awards are Mary Grace Pauline S. Llamas of Asian Link Bath and Body Essentials; Francis Anthony Zapanta of Netland Cellcard Station and Cellphone Repair Center; Dennis T. Camus of Autozone Paint and Bodyworks; and Paulo M. Tibig of Vintel Logistics, Inc.
